How to fix it: step by step

Check whether Cash App is down for everyone: open status.cash.app. When we checked on November 6, 2026, it showed All Systems Operational. On November 4, 2026, Cash App logged "Connection issues" for Paper Money Deposits (Investigating 14:06 PST, Monitoring 14:58 PST, Resolved 15:17 PST) and said you may retry failed attempts after the outage.
Update Cash App and restart your phone.
Try Wi-Fi instead of cellular (or the reverse).
Sign out, then sign in with the phone number or email on the account. Cash App Help says to use the phone or email tied to the account.
If you can't get in, open the login screen menu ("...") and choose "I need help logging in" to recover access.
If a Paper Money Deposit failed during an outage, wait until status.cash.app is green and retry.
